Hi Lu @egr22ly The approaches you mentioned are all valid and they have their own benefits and limitations, but I guess it’s important to remember that learner autonomy is not an innate quality and that students will need to time and guidance to build their corpus skills and confidence. I would also argue that sometimes it’s easier for the teacher to pull out concordance lines if the search is somewhat too advanced for students.
