My two activities are in the links at the bottom of this post.
However, having followed and checked the instructions, I remain unable to come up with a link from HP5 to share on here. The link is being generated but it does not appear in the box but at the bottom left of my screen – and when I try to grab it, it disappears. I had the same issue when trying to share my activity from the previous task. Any suggestions gratefully accepted, thanks @David
I have finally succeeded in extracting the links from the embedding info – and now see they are opening! It’s been very frustrating and time consuming but at least some kind of outcome. Wonder if anyone else had similar issues?
Thanks very much for stepping in! I have been trying to do as you suggest for a couple of days – but H5P is just not generating a link for me in the External Link box (as circled by you and I can see the link in yours).
When I looked at your post just now, I thought you had the same issue but – upon re-opening – your exercise is appearing fully open on the screen now – with no link necessary.
All very mysterious. It seems to be a problem my end!
The column is a good way of combining tasks, but I did manage to answer some of the first questions by reading the second activity and not having to listen.
Hi @paul-m, good use of the question set. I especially like questions 2 & 4 having the instruction right above the task. In task 2, just move the space along to the left by 1 word.
Yes @robert, agree with @azurial, really nice use of multimedia. Also shows that not every activity necessarily needs a ‘check’ button or a score to be engaging. Vocabulary review can be done just as effectively this way.
@paul-m, like the way you vary the activities within the question set to avoid too much repetition of question types. Keeps students on their toes and avoids the ‘I’ll just click one of the options and see if it’s right’ syndrome setting in
I really like this challenging task @naomirabin. One thing to consider is the potential for multiple correct answers. For example, for question 2, I put ‘faster process’, and for question 5, I put ‘put more rubbish in landfills.’
This first task works well @andrew, but as you already have the words at the top of the page, it might be worth making it into a drag the words task instead. Otherwise, they just copy the words into the gaps. The 2nd activity is good – just delete the extra ‘in’ from the ‘in addition’ example.
I really like this task with the audio @jjdr. It’s good that learners have the controls to stop, start, and listen again.
